Santa Claus is about to visit your house in one month and a half, and your children may have begun to prepare their list of presents: society games, puzzles, teddy bears, dolls and candies…What would be the best moment to buy your presents and make everybody happy?
For the ones who do not really enjoy spending their time surrounded by a bunch of people in a department store, the best time will be now, or quite early before Christmas. You can avoid the last-minute rush by taking one or two days in mid-November to buy your presents. Fewer people in the stores and a sales assistant that will be more dedicated to you and your questions, think about it.
Making one’s presents early is also a means of getting more attractive prices than if you were going the day before Christmas. Pay attention to promotions and special offers in order to get interesting discounts, and do not hesitate to compare the same product in different stores to make sure that you get the most affordable item.
Of course, you can also buy your presents in December, beginning or end of the month depending on your schedule. Keep in mind that everyone will probably get the same idea, and a higher demand is logically increasing prices. If you are buying second-hand products, that aspect should be less obvious still. The best moment to get your presents would be from mid-November to the beginning of December.
Finding the best moment is one thing, but getting the right presents is another thing: what will appeal to your relatives? Are you looking for originality and something unique, or would you rather rely on security by offering a mass consumption item that most people will like? The choice is between your hands.
