What kind of games are you playing with your children?

1 / 1

Society games, puzzles, books, teddy bears, dolls…What do you usually buy for your children when Christmas or birthday time are coming, and above all: once the game is bought, what is next?

When talking about toys and games which are dedicated to children, there usually are two types of parents: the ones who make do with buying some stuff and leaving their child alone with it, and the ones who will participate in the discovery of the new gift with their love and play with him/her. Sometimes, you can do both depending on your free time, meaning when you are not busy with work or some other grown-up duty.

Are you a buyer only or do you play no matter what? And if you play with your child, what player are you: just participating, or playing as if you were interacting with a friend of yours? There is not a good or a bad way of doing here since everyone does as he/she can depending on a bunch of factors that we do not always master.

Depending on your child too: your love can be willing to play alone. On the contrary, he/she can be interested in playing with you, or just being looked at you whenever he/she plays.

If you are not used to playing with your child, you could possibly try it once to see how it is: you may feel surprised and amused by the situation. Do not hesitate to observe your child when playing, witness his/her reactions and the way he/she talks to you. Of course, some games may attract you more than others, and you may feel a bit bored if you spend your time dancing with a teddy bear, but why not try to do a puzzle with him/her or any smart game?

At last, you can think of outdoor activities as well: biking, football, swimming…Sky is the limit!
