
Alexandra Amon is an award-winning Ivorian actress, writer and producer who is championing the growth of the Ivorian cinema industry on the international stage.
In the industry for nearly a decade, she launched her production company ZIV in 2012 with the goal of taking local productions onto the world stage.
She gained recognition in 2015 by winning the award for Best TV series with CHRONIQUES AFRICAINES at the FESPACO, Africa’s most prominent film festival; Alexandra was the producer and lead actress in this drama series. But her dream to achieve global recognition was finally realized when it was announced in 2017 that BET France secured the rights for her web series, ‘Boutique Hotel’ executive produced by Nigeria’s RED TV.
The series, which was created by Alexandra and in which she also stars have been broadcast on BET in more than 25 French-speaking countries around the world. Since then she went on to create 3 primetime series ‘CHEZ COLETTE’ (2017) ’20.30.40’ (2019) ’INFLUENCE’ (in production) that aired in several channels around Africa such as Canal + Afrique, StarTimes, Nollywood TV, TV5 Monde and Ivory Coast oldest TV network RTI. She starred in the Nollywood film ‘FIX US’ alongside Ghanaian superstar Yvonne Nelson that premiered in December 2019 and is set to release her first feature film ETERNEL at the end of 2020.

Alexandra is the youngest female producer to have signed a broadcasting with Canal + Afrique in 2015, was listed under the 100 Most Influential Africans of 2017 by New African Magazine, called Africa’s new cinema prodigy by FORBES AFRIQUE, listed on the Best 35 under 35 list by the Francophonie organization in 2018 and is a currently an active member and jury of the International Academy of Television Arts & Science, home to the Emmy.
She is currently starring in the Ghanian production Fix Us currently available on Netflix
