In France, the recent law about retirement brought a lot of strikes and dissatisfaction in the country: by 2030, the legal age when you can retire will not be 62 years old any longer but 64. If you started you career early, you will still be able to leave before 60. Regarding the length of your contribution period, it will be extended to 43 years instead of 42 years. A few people talk about sacrifice when working and tend to affirm that “when retired, they will have the time to do all they could not do when working”.
