‘3 PARADIS’ ‘Quiet Storm’ Brings Frost and Freedom to PFW

3 PARADIS is a Parisian ready-to-wear brand with international recognition for its contemporary designs that champion positive change and universal freedom. Founded in 2013 by Emeric Tchatchoua, the brand states, “We believe in fashion and style as a highly personal, emotive, and affective journey—one of the key artistic vehicles available to us for spreading positive change, hope, and desire for our future, a way to sense and sensitize for universal freedom.”
For AW25, 3. PARADIS unveiled Quiet Storm at PFW, a collection inspired by Tchatchoua’s Montreal upbringing. The show invited guests to “pause and exist fully in the present moment in a world where the chill of winter meets the warmth of home.”
Snow-encrusted models moved through a wintery runway in sculptural, plump collars, signature quilted pants and jackets, and low-slung belts. Office wear met sportswear as hoodies and cargo pants contrasted with skinny black ties and crisp button-down shirts. Pop culture references appeared throughout—most notably in nods to Bruce Lee, with jackets, tops, and even a playful clutch designed to resemble a Bruce Lee DVD case. A classic black suit jacket was adorned with NBA iron-on patches, while neutral-toned pea coats and baseball caps had their shoulders and tips dusted in snow-white paint, mimicking frost-kissed outerwear. The overall effect was ethereal, as though the wearers were frozen in time amid the blustery wilds.
Texture played a defining role, with an interplay of fluffy furs, denim, rhinestones, leather, and wool. Puffer jackets featured oversized, rounded collars and quilted designs, pairing seamlessly with matching pants for a luxe take on the classic snowsuit. Rhinestone embellishments on quilted pieces added a touch of shimmer, while shaggy fur jackets lent an extra layer of opulence.
The collection felt both of-the-moment and steeped in nostalgia—a balance of present-day fashion with echoes of sports and pop culture.
