Holidays are about to end in a couple of days for many fellows, and you are going to resume work soon. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you can notice that you somewhat put on weight when enjoying peaceful times at your summertime destination. Nothing worth getting worried about, but still. What to be done in order to lose weight after a cut loose period?
This is a secret for no one: when going on summer holidays, we tend to be less careful with our diet. Fewer constraints and a certain freedom that you will perhaps regret a little at some point. Life must be lived, and this comes with a free mind in the holidays. Sweet things, ice-creams with three scoops in a cone instead of two, new flavors, carrot cakes, pizzas, burgers, local dishes with more or less calories…Difficult to resist and stay on the track of the healthy diet!
If you put on weight and came back from Bali or Milan with a few more kilos, you can still get back to a healthy diet when getting back to work. For instance, try to avoid eating outside, and cook for yourself: vegetables, salads, fruits, you have the choice. If you are ready for it, you can also consider eating only once or two times in the day. Breakfast and lunch for example. Intermittent fasting is filled up with virtues for your body and mind as long as you can physically and mentally cope with it. Do not do it if it affects you in your daily life and if you feel tired because you did not eat enough in the day.
At last, what about doing some exercise so as to lose weight? Jogging, dancing, running, walking, September can also be the month of resolutions. Walking at the end of the day or going running early in the morning before going to work can help you lose those nasty kilos that you nicely tolerated for two months.
